Anitox opened a new Indonesia office yesterday, underlining our commitment to the region. Anitox Vice-President of Global Sales John Thornton joined newly-promoted Commercial Manager for Asia Pacific Eric Chew and Country Manager for Indonesia Haryono Jatmiko in Jakarta for the opening ceremony. Indonesian distributor SHS and industry media representatives were also present.
“Asia Pacific is a stronghold for Anitox,” explained Mr Thornton. “And at this time, with clean feed a critical pillar of all effective antibiotic reduction programs, it’s right that we underline our commitment through new investment.” Against this backdrop of growth and opportunity, three key pressures impact our sector: increasing focus on food safety, demand for increased efficiency linked to affordability, and growing concern about routine use of antibiotics. Anitox is committed to helping producers meet all three challenges. In 2017 we are celebrating 40 years of service. Our story is rooted in the US scientific community; chemist Dr Bob Bland started Anitox in the USA in 1977. As a family company, Anitox quickly developed a range of core products, many of which – like Termin-8, Maxi-Mil and Finio – have become market leading brands.
Today, our core technologies remain the most efficient, effective and safe means of protecting consumers and animals from feed-source pathogens associated such as Salmonella, E.Coli and viruses including Avian Influenza. Our commercial and engineering teams support 355 installations of patented application technology globally in the feed sector alone – each permanently installed and supported by unparalleled levels of engineering excellence for this industry.
