The
main components of the Anitox
Liquid Application System can be divided into three sections as follows:
1)
Electrical
Controls – A power switch is designed into the system that allows main
power for the entire application system to be turned off and on as required.
Indicator lamps have been included to provide a quick reference of
application system status. The
application system also incorporates the use of a liquid float to shut down the
application system and alert the system operators when liquid is not flowing.
The use of relays, contactors, and fuses controls power to operate the
pump, control valves, etc. and to provide protection to the entire application
system.
2)
Chemical
Application Control – The chemical application control includes the main
components for the processing and decanting of liquid from the storage tank to
the application point. The
chemical is drawn from the tank via a top access suction tube, and then passed
through the filter, pump, control valves and then supplied to the nozzles with
compressed air at a set rate. The
flow rate and pressure are controlled by the system and are manually preset.
The main components in the chemical system include a liquid filter, pump,
flow monitoring device, liquid control valve, liquid pressure gauge, and a
pressure bypass.
3)
Air
Control – The air control in the system controls the flow and regulation
of compressed air from an external supply to the air atomizing spray nozzles.
The main components in the air control system include an air control
valve, air pressure regulator, air filter, and an air pressure gauge
